Goal Measurements

All Samba goal sizes are measured taking the INTERNAL goal frame dimension. To calculate the full width and height that the goal will occupy you need to ensure you account for the post sizes. Our tubing size is 68mm diameter (2.5 inch).

How to tell if you have a Samba MATCH goal or TRAINING goal?

The MATCH goals would have the following features:

  • Roof to the net (creating a box shape) - the tensions bars (part no 7) would be pre bent on arrival
  • Marks on the tubing where to insert the ground anchors
  • See diagram below to highlight the different tension bars used.

    Locking or non locking frame?

The Samba locking system is a simplistic but effective securing mechanism made up of a button and hole system that locks all of the goal parts together. This ensures that none of the parts come adrift when moving the posts from one position to another.

The Samba non locking system is where all the parts just sleve together. The non locking system is great for when goals have to be assembled and disassembled on a regular basis.
